Controlling the dew point is the key to the quality of insulating glass

insulating glass, as a building energy-saving material, is widely used because of its good heat insulation and sound insulation performance. At the same time, the quality requirements of insulating glass are getting higher and higher. It is understood that the quality problem of shutdown when the maximum load of the hollow glass is 5. 1. Cause analysis of dew point rise

the dew point of insulating glass refers to the temperature when the air humidity sealed in the air layer reaches the saturation state. Below this temperature, the water vapor in the air layer will condense into liquid water. It can be deduced that the higher the content of water, the higher the dew point temperature of the air. When the temperature of the inner surface of the glass is lower than the dew point of the air in the air layer, the moisture in the air will condense or frost on the inner surface of the glass

the dew point rise of insulating glass is caused by the external moisture entering the air layer and not being absorbed by the desiccant. There are three reasons that may lead to the dew point rise:

(1) there are bubbles in the sealant, resulting in the entry of air moisture

(2) water vapor diffuses into the air layer through the polymer

(3) the effective adsorption capacity of desiccant is low

2. Dew point control measures for insulating glass

(1) strictly control the production environment temperature

the production environment mainly affects the adhesion capacity and residual adsorption capacity

(2) reduce the diffusion of water through the polymer

mainly by selecting the sealant with low permeability coefficient, determining the reasonable sealing thickness, and reducing the internal and external temperature difference of the insulating glass (that is, control the production within a certain temperature range, and do not make the temperature range too large.)

(3) reduce the production process time

try to reduce the time when the desiccant contacts the atmosphere, reduce the loss of adsorption capacity, and make the desiccant have high adsorption capacity

(4) select the appropriate aluminum profile
